AHLI MOORE, EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR

Ahli Moore is a lifelong leadership practitioner whose work bridges more than three decades of corporate leadership experience with an unwavering commitment to developing the next generation of leaders. As the Founder of Building Future Leaders (BFL), Ahli has dedicated much of his career to helping young people—particularly those from underrepresented communities—discover their potential, strengthen their voice, and develop the skills needed to lead with purpose and integrity.

Ahli’s passion for youth leadership development is deeply informed by his extensive corporate background. Over a 30-year career, he has served as an executive, consultant, and leadership advisor to Fortune 500 companies, government agencies, and nonprofit organizations, helping leaders navigate change, build high-performing teams, and lead through complexity. Through these experiences, Ahli learned firsthand that technical skill alone does not create effective leaders—character, self-awareness, accountability, and the ability to work across differences are equally essential. These lessons now serve as the foundation of BFL’s youth-centered programming.

Through Building Future Leaders, Ahli has helped design and deliver leadership curricula that emphasize confidence, responsibility, collaboration, and civic engagement. BFL’s programs are intentionally designed to expose young people to real-world leadership challenges while equipping them with tools often learned much later in life—effective communication, decision-making, emotional intelligence, and ethical leadership. Ahli believes that when young people are given access to these lessons early, they are better prepared to lead in their schools, communities, and future careers.

In addition to his work with BFL, Ahli is the Founder and CEO of X-Factor Solutions, a leadership and organizational development firm he established after spending more than a decade with Accenture and serving as Chief Operating Officer of Giant Leap Consulting. His professional journey has reinforced a core belief that drives all of his work: leadership is not a title, but a responsibility—and when developed intentionally, it can change individual lives and entire communities.

Ahli serves on many boards including the Board of Trustees for the Georgia Council for International Visitors (https://gciv.org/about-gciv/staff-and-trustees/), Board of Directors for Project Uplift, former President of FSU’s National Black Alumni, former Chairman of the FSU College of Communications Leadership Board and former President of the Dance Canvas leadership board (community arts non-profit).  He is also a business pitch coach for the Young Leaders of the Americas Initiative (https://ylai.state.gov/ YLAI ).

Across every role he holds, his focus remains the same—helping people, especially young people, see themselves as leaders and equipping them with the mindset and skills to lead well.
